This policy explains what information the MayTech Labs website (maytechlabs.com) handles and what it does not. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the site and answer you.

What we do not do

  • There are no user accounts or sign-ups on this website.
  • We do not run advertising or profiling trackers. Google Analytics runs only if you accept it in the cookie notice.
  • We do not collect payment or card details on this website.

Server logs

Like most websites, our web server records standard technical logs when a page is requested: IP address, requested page, date and time, and browser user agent. We use them to keep the site secure and working, and keep them only as long as needed for that purpose.

Language preference

The site remembers your chosen language using your browser's local storage. This value stays on your device, is not sent to us, and you can clear it at any time in your browser settings.

Third-party resources

Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts and a styling library from a content delivery network (cdn.tailwindcss.com). If you accept analytics, Google Analytics also receives technical data such as your IP address and the pages you visit, under Google's privacy policy. Your browser connects to these providers when a page loads.

Contacting us

Our contact links open your email app. We only receive what you choose to send, and we use it only to reply to you. We do not sell, rent or share your email address or messages with third parties.

Purchases on Etsy and Payhip

Our digital products are sold through Etsy and Payhip. Your payment and account details are handled by those platforms under their own privacy policies; we never see your card details. We may receive order information from them, such as your name or email address and the product purchased, so that we can deliver the product and give support.

Excel tools

Some features of our Excel tools, such as downloading an extra interface language or current exchange rates, request a file from our server when you use them. These requests do not include the data in your workbook.

Children

Our website and services are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
